Our Mission
The Mission of It’s Possible Inc, is to promote public safety, reduce recidivism, and rehabilitate at-promise youth and young adults through a continuum of services that fosters accountability for themselves and to their communities.
Vision Statement
All adolescents and young adults under the auspices of It’s Possible Inc will attain their fullest potential within a secure and supportive environment, ultimately becoming capable, productive and law-abiding adults.
Promoting public safety
We promote public safety safety by being part of a continuum of services for youth that begins with prevention and ends with successful transition back into the community.
Providing purposeful processes for youth
We provide a structured purposeful, processes that develops assets in youth and promotes their successful transition.
Promoting partnerships with family
We will encourage collaborations with family to best meet the needs of our clients and their families /support networks.
Promoting partnerships with local businesses, law enforcement and other community-based organizations
We will encourage strong links and collaborations with business leaders, City leaders and the community to best meet the needs of our youth under our auspices.
Promoting staff professionalism
We believe that staff are a valuable resource entitled to a supportive work environment that enhances professional growth and development.
The Future:
With increased funding and community partnerships, Its Possible Inc plans to scale our programs to serve more individuals and address the root causes of youth involvement in the criminal justice system. By investing in proven transition models, we can continue to create tangible, positive change that makes our communities safer for everyone.
Programs
Current Initiatives & Programs
Juvenile Prevention Program
The Prevention Program’s goal is to identify at-risk behaviors in youth who are experiencing behavior or family difficulties, as well as those who are at risk of being arrested.
Youth Diversion Program
Working with the justice system to provide alternatives to incarceration, our diversion program will hold youths accountable while engaging them in skill-building and restorative justice practices.
Aftercare Program
To provide support and services to help young people successfully stay in or return to their communities after out of home placement.
